Pricing

Fair for South Africa: institutions first, not families per child.

EduPulse is priced as an institutional subscription per school, campus, or public programme. We do not publish per learner or per parent retail rates.

Pricing strategy

How we think about revenue without punishing families.

EduPulse is built for South Africa: most households cannot carry a separate software bill for each child. Our model is an institutional subscription aligned to what the school or programme can sustain.

Institutional licence

We contract with the school, group, or public programme. Pricing is for the organisation, not a retail rate per learner or per parent.

Scoped to your footprint

Fees reflect learner bands, modules enabled, campuses, and implementation depth, so you don't pay for capacity you won't use.

Two pathways: independent vs public

Independent schools fund from budget or fees. Public sector rollouts are shaped around programme budgets and DoE co-investment.

Transparent line items

We separate subscription, implementation, training, and support on quotes so finance and programme offices see where money goes.

What drives your quote

We don't use a single sticker price. A short scoping call plus your learner and module picture lets us propose something defensible to your SGB, bursar, or programme office.

  • Registered learner band (rough tiers, not billing per child)
  • Modules enabled (e.g. finance, advanced reporting, several campuses)
  • Number of campuses or schools on one agreement
  • Implementation depth: data migration, integrations, branding
  • Support level: standard vs enhanced hours / SLA

Who pays (commercially)

Independent schools: the governing body or school is the contracting party; recovery via school fees or operational budget is your internal policy.

Public schools & programmes: we expect provincial, national, or programme funding and DoE or partner co-funding; not a parent-paid app store model.

Illustrative only (not a quote): smaller independent campuses often discuss monthly fees in the low to mid single digit thousands of rand per month before VAT, heavily dependent on learner count and modules.

Packages below = capability tiers, not checkout prices.

Each tier is a conversation and a scoped quote. We align numbers to your footprint after we understand learners, modules, and rollout.

Quotes are in South African rand, exclude VAT unless stated, and cover the institution or programme. Implementation, training, and support can be listed separately for transparency.

Public sector

Departments of Education, funded differently.

For districts and provinces, we align with rollout scope, school count, training, and reporting, not a private school price list. We work with you to scope this honestly.

Learn about public sector
No public retail price list. District and provincial programmes are scoped with school count, phase, and funding source.
Policy-aligned attendance, learner support, communication, and reporting workflows.
Deployment models for phased pilots, regional rollout, and change management in resource-constrained environments.
We expect provincial or national programmes to co-fund where possible; parents should not carry a standalone software levy.
Typical shape: annual programme licensing with implementation, training, and support priced separately so treasury and programme offices can see where money goes.
